Midterm Exam Distribution:

Mean = 85.2 (out of 150 possible points)

Range = 40 - 122

Curve:

The curve for this exam is very generous. I know that many people weren’t completely sure what to expect on the exam and therefore had difficulty studying. The final exam will be similar in structure, length, and in where the information will be drawn from (i.e., heavily reliant upon the lectures but also drawn from assigned readings). Therefore, I expect grades will significantly improve on the next exam. If you received a D or F on this exam please contact me. We can discuss the first exam and strategies for improving on the next exam. Anyone else who wishes to meet with me about the exam should set up a time to do so.

Grading Scale:

A – 110 & Above

B – 86-109

C – 70-85

D – 55-69

F – 54 & Below
